I was commissioned to create this album art for local Chicago DIY band, The God Awful Small Affairs. The band describes their music as “them fatale space rock” and features the soaring vocals of frontperson Missy Preston & dreamlike soundwaves by guitarist Mark Muniz.
Vanishing Point Lessons is an album at the intersection of new love & lasting grief. As such, I created my designs around an image from a photoshoot by Kayla Ellen Todd of Missy & Mark drinking in a cemetary.
