Getting photographed but being so brave about it [January 2025]
Hi, my name is Adam.

I’m a multidisciplinary artist & graphic designer living in Chicago. Here’s my resume. The color scheme for this portfolio was inspired by the tint of my FL-41 lenses, which are red prescription glasses I wear for photosensitivity and migraines. Although this can literally be a pain while designing, the color red reminds me of the challenges I’ve already overcome & the ones I will overcome in the future.

I received my BA in Fine Arts & Sociology from DePaul in 2013 and returned to school for my BA in Graphic Design at Columbia College, which I received in May of 2025.

One of the things I enjoy the most about graphic design is how social it is; really, it exists to be shared. If you enjoyed my graphic design work, please consider also looking at my gallery for paintings, more illustrations & my sketchbook.

It’s in the process.

We are living in interesting times. As a transgender artist, equity & inclusion are important to me. I’ve been in the non-profit sector for over 10 years, doing everything from street canvassing to designing flyers for theatre shows in juvenile detention centers to one very memorable afternoon catching ducklings flying off a roof. These experiences taught me one thing: we need each other.

I’m grateful for the many opportunities I’ve had to build community and tell stories with diverse groups of creative & talented humans. If you want to make something cool together, please contact me

In the meantime, take care of yourself.
