This series of RISO printed posters are based on self-portraits I created 10 years ago. The "woman" version was me as I looked back then, still figuring myself out. The "man" version was actually an exercise in imagination: my artist's rendering of how I would look after taking testosterone therapy. I was trying to picture the future.
Almost exactly 10 years later, I created these posters as supplementary images for a book I was making, Being Here and Wanting To Be Here.
